A ‘hands on’ management
programme working with and assisting managers through
the
processes of establishing the new organisation and putting
new systems and management arrangements in place. This
programme of review and delivery has been established
using experience gained in previous ALMO transfers.
The programme has been designed to ensure that, through
close working with the new ‘shadow’ organisation
and it’s managers, that both the ALMO programme
and the performance targets that deliver the associated
finance to improve the stock are both achieved.
Manage and Improve
A new and unique service for housing
organisations that have identified areas of under-performance,
but that lack the management capacity to address all
of the issues involved in the timescales required.
Housing Consultants will, effectively take-on the management
responsibilities for the service area concerned and put in place a timetabled programme
agreed with the client to implement a service performance
review and improvement programme. Such a programme will,
by agreement, include the delivery of training and mentoring,
both during the initial programme and beyond, to permanent
managers within the service. These processes will ensure
that the performance gains are sustained and that the
organisation has a secure platform for future success.
Shadow inspections
An inspection service, that is

set of priorities for improvement, ahead of the formal

Independent Tenants Advice
An independent service available
to tenants and tenant’s organisations on the implications
of the housing stock options being considered by the
local authority.
Whichever options are being considered; LSVT, ALMO,
PFI, partial transfer, housing consultants.co.uk will
work positively with the tenants to ensure that they
understand the options clearly, the policy and financial
implications of each and their role in the processes
of decision and subsequent management. Housing consultants.co.uk
will work with specialist financial partners on the
production of the required financial models.
